Hi! I’m Erin. I’m a 28 year old, with a new baby girl, and a sweet computer geek for a hubby. We share our house with three two cats and two dogs (golden retrievers). I have a doctorate in veterinary medicine (a.k.a. I’m a veterinarian). However, I’m currently loving being an adjunct biology professor. I am a Christian and love God with all my heart! We live in the great state of Tennessee.
I have poor self-esteem — which drives my husband crazy. But on the other hand, I am very opinionated, stubborn, and have a fiery temper that flares up every once in awhile.
I like to talk. Alot. I’m evidently very loud. I attribute my lack of volume control to multiple ear infections with ear drum ruptures as a child, but mom says I’ve been loud since I started talking. Oh well.
I am an only child. I wish I wasn’t, but God didn’t have it in the plans for my family. Who knows what I would be like now if I had siblings? Normal, maybe? Just kidding. I learned early on to never tell anyone you’re an only child. Makes life much easier.
I hate most stereotypes of the South… Stupid. Backward. Barefoot and pregnant. CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS. Racist. Sexist.
Why I love the South… God loving/fearing. Church. Sweet Tea. Cornbread. Southern kindness. Four seasons. Family. Double names. Country music. Trucks. Yes ma’m/ Yes sir. SEC Football. Fried pies.
I enjoy blogging and use it as journal of sorts.
